Donnie sighed as he couldn't believe his luck. What was suppose to be a joy ride around a different part of New York had turned into an unfortunate matter of engine trouble, the young man having come to a stop near what seemed to be a boarding school or private one of some kind. It all had been going well, just riding around what seemed to be the upper parts of the city, well kept lawns and highly expensive mansions on most of the blocks, a sports car in the drive ways or BMWs and Mercerdez here and there that made him shake his head slightly of why people would spend so much for such things. Then again, several people looked at him oddly as he was hardly from this neck of the woods but his bike was polished and well kept, Donnie usually making sure it was kept up with maintenance and other possible problems, up until now.
Now, the man had the bike propped up so it didn't fall over or go riding down anywhere and his helmet resting on the leather seat as he knelt down beside it. Observing the engine he could see there seemed to be a leak of some kind or damage, one that likely had been quite recent since the last check up had been a few months ago. Being that he wasn't much of a mechanical person he knew this wasn't going to be much good other then he could see the problem came from the engine. Frowning a bit he knew it probably was best to get a hold of someone since this was not something he could handle on his own and the nearest mechanic was some miles away.
Taking out his phone from his pocket he checked to see if he had any signal but only found there was none, "Great. High end neighborhood and no signal." He grumbled as he stood and glanced towards the hedges hiding the brick or stone wall behind them. Maybe the school would have a phone he could borrow, especially considering his was pretty much useless at this point but he felt a bit bad for intruding upon some possible school going on but it was worth a shot. Standing he headed along the short distance to get to the metal gates that led up towards a long driveway, seeing the school that was called the Jean Grey School for Gifted Youngsters, which Donnie assumed genius-level children and prodigies most likely, but it never crossed his mind of the word "gifted" meaning something else entirely, especially considering their world. Turning to a small speaker Donnie pressed the button as he seemed uncertain, "Uh hello, I'm sorry to be a bother but I was wondering if anyone here could allow me to use a phone?" He inquired.
