APPEARANCE
Over all Appearance: Like most neyaphem Carol has a demonic appearance which she has looked since birth. She has light red fur covering her slender and lithe body. Her face is slightly angular, her eyes a dark green with no pupils, and she has pointed ears. Her hair is about shoulder length and a ebony black in coloration. To finish off she has three fingers, two toes to the front of her feet with one to the back, and she has a three foot prehensile tail.
Her usual clothes are normally something comfortable and a little loose to allow for maneuverability. These often include tank tops or sleeveless shirts along with shorts and skirts, but she will occasionally wear pants, short sleeve shirts, and long sleeved ones. She is only about 115 lbs and about 5'5 in height.

Over all personality: Carol is a young woman who is kind hearted and compassionate towards others. She is always the kind of person who puts others before herself and is the type always willing to lend a hand when she can or if someone is willing to have it. She is fairly patient with those around her and tends to be the calmest of people compared to most girls her age, if even a bit more on the shy side of things. She may sometimes lack being the most social person and tends to have a hard time talking to others or meeting their gaze because of this shyness, partly due to her mostly sheltered life and hard times of growing up with great distrust. Though with time she eventually comes out of her shell.
Secondly, Carol is not the type to be for war or violence of any kind, rather she would avoid it due to the fact she is a pacifist by nature. To some she could be considered cowardly since she tries to avoid conflict at any given chance, and would likely be the one to steer clear or stop it in some other way. But when she does have to fight it is with great reluctance, hating such times of having to go against the things she believes in. Still, she is a deeply loyal kind of person who will do whatever she can to help others if it comes down to it and is the kind to always worry about those closest to her. She hates seeing her loved ones get hurt and may occasionally show a side of wanting payback but rarely resorts to anything excessive, especially in avoiding the chance to kill. She has a view that there are more peaceful ways to handle conflicts and will outright show her disgust of such actions.
Still, Carol can be the talkative and sociable person when given the chance. It is here that she could show an out-going personality on top of being quite an intelligent young woman, being quick to pick up on things for the most part. It's very rarely that she gets angry or shows any form of negative emotions, but when she does it is usually with good reason and she will go after the person who caused her to feel such fury. Though, Carol can also be self-conscious about herself, primarily her appearance after people have labeled her a demon and monster over the years, proving to not help in her fully accepting what she is.

HISTORY: Carol is the youngest of two children from a family originating from the state of California. Like her brother she was born with a demonic appearance and faced a rough life of not truly being accepted in their town, which as in the city. To hide them their family moved out to the country and faced a hard decision of home schooling since their mother worried for someone seeing them as freaks. Both Carol and Merrick had the basic education and learned some other skills which eventually lead to their different paths.
Eventually Carol took an interest in gymnastics and was found to be a natural from a young age. For a while this worked for her since no one really expected anything besides her odd appearance until around the time she was 13, unaware of her superhuman reflexes and agility already, that things began to change. During her attempt at a difficult maneuver Carol nearly had a fatal hit into the wall when trying some aerial flips but caught herself. Instead of falling however she stuck to the wall and found she could easily scale it.
This made several other uncomfortable however and this continued to worsen as she got older and began to realize how much different she really was. By the time she was 16 her telepathy began to show itself as she couldn't stop thoughts that weren't her own coming into and out of her mind. During an event for her gymnastics team this happened again and already on the brink of insanity she lashed out with her thoughts using a psychic knife resulting anyone 20 feet of her being mentally attacked. Others who weren't grew frightened and had had enough. A week later though she was approached by X-men staff to join their school in the use of her powers which she accepted.
After a year at being at the institute Carol has gain better control of her telepathy, allowing her to do some basic uses. Currently though she is still trying to master it and has begun to feel more relaxed of who she is.
POWERS:
Superhuman agility-Carol's bodily coordination, balance, and reflexes are above the finest human athlete. This allows her to perform great acrobatic maneuvers, and even some not possible by conventional performers.
Superhuman Reflexes-Carol has a reaction time about 3 times faster then the average human, allowing her to outmaneuver most others and react to most actions up close or from afar to a certain point.
Wall-crawling-Due to microscopic discs on her hands and feet Carol can scale vertical surfaces without much worry though horizontal surfaces are something of a limit.
Telepathy-Carol is a young telepath with the potential to be an Alpha-level mutant but currently is struggling to find her full potential. This ability allows her to read other's minds and see their thoughts among a handful of other capable skills under this ability. At best she is currently limited to roughly 30 feet away of using these abilities with the number of people varying depending on what she does. Currently however she can only:
*Telepathic Communication:Carol can talk to about 3-4 people at once by projecting her thoughts to them or vice versa. Any more people tends to put a strain on her however.
*Psychic Links:Carol can make a mental connection with certain people to which telepathic communication becomes easier despite distance though tend to be stronger when within her limited range. At the moment she is still learning to use this.
*Psi-blasts:By concentrating the energy from her mind Carol can create concussive force like blasts that attack the mind or can do physical damage, strength of blast varies with concentration.
*Psi-knife:Similar to other telepaths Carol can concentrate her thoughts to attack the minds of others to 'stab' their mind like a knife would to actual flesh, but varies again based on concentration.
*Telepathic Cloak:Is able to mask her presence and powers from other mutants or humans, though she is currently working to extend this towards others around her. But stronger telepaths could likely "See" through this.
*Psionic Shield:A shield to protect one's mind and can be extended to others.
*Mental Detection: Can sense the presence or brainwaves of other mutants or superpowered beings based on their unique brainwave patters.
*Astral Projection:Ability that allows Carol to leave her body in astral form. She can ascend to the astral plane or move on the physical plane not being affected by most physical barriers.
*Neural Jumpstart: She can increase neural signals in the brain allowing one to briefly loose any inhibitors to increase a mutant or superhuman's powers at levels beyond before. But this is temporary.
WEAKNESSES:
-Isn't as strong as most people and is over only average strength.
-Her telepathy is very basic at the moment and she is still learning to not overstep her limits.
-Is something of a pacifist and may not want to fight often leading her to run away or avoid a fight altogether.
