Here on HOT we greatly encourage members to make OCs at any time, but at the same time we also have some canons we may require during certain plots or permanently for each team. We ask if anyone takes these canons that they at least remain semi-active otherwise they will be put up for grabs once again. Any that have a line through them are taken unless a member gives them up or they are no longer active and given up for adoption once again.
X-men:
Scott "Cyclops" Summers
The still leader of the current team of the X-men and recently made headmaster some time after Charles Xavier retired during the 15 year time skip of the Age of Heroes. He has long since thought to have retired from the hero business when peace fell upon the Earth and retired like many heroes have over the years. Yet, he still works with younger member Jubilee watching over the training of the new current team, sometimes dubbed by Jubilee as her "X-people". Whether he had kids during these years is up to the player and or if anyone else decides to make them.
Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee
Formerly one of the youngest members of the previous X-men team but now has decided to restart the X-men with her own team fondly dubbed the "X-people" by her and some of the members. She herself is still a very active member and has since become a field leader. She also has been stated to be a new teacher at the school among many former members. What she teaches is up to the one who takes her.
Avengers/A-next
Steve "Captain America" Rogers
A team leader of the first incarnation of Avengers who has begun to feel the effects of old age in recent years. Like many heroes it is believed for a time Steve tried to settle down for a new civilian life but was called upon once more for one last mission. At the time he ended up stranded in a time he thought he was needed most but it's very possible he could have returned at some point in time. This though is up to the player and up to them if Steve might have had children.
Shannon "American Dream" Carter
Shannon is part of the new incarnation of Avengers and recently new leader. She has long since idolized Captain America and has even shaped her suit after him. Though she has no specific powers or enhancements like many of her team she has shown to be an excellent athlete and a natural leader. She also is known to work as a tour guide at the Avengers Museum and thus never seems far from her teammates should they need her.
Mainframe
Mainframe is an android shaped in the image of the original Ironman after Tony was worried his legacy wouldn't live on in later years. Thus this android has come to serve as a replacement for Ironman when Tony isn't joining the Avengers and helps with protocols, strategy, and keeping track of the Avengers when needed. He also helps in alerting of trouble and possibly recruiting new possible members to the Avengers.
Cassandra "Stinger" Lang
Also known as Cassie by many, she is the daughter of the second Ant-Man Scott Lang. Being one of the first members of A-next she is also the co-leader after Shannon and has taken on a mix of Ant-man and Wasp technology, allowing her to grow in size and have bionic wings and stingers. She has done this in honor of both Ant-man and the Wasp since they retired and has been a valued member of her new team. Though she is still trying to figure out why Hope Pym hates her so much.
Fantastive Five:
Johnny "Human Torch" Storm
Much of Johnny's history is like that of his original counter part in MC1 but in MC2 Johnny has become the new leader of the Fantastic Five, though this is mostly due to Reed and Sue Richards being stuck in the Negative Zone and trying to keep it from opening. He has since matured and married a former Skrull agent Lyja, the two eventually having a child of their own. To this day he is serving as leader and hopes to one day see his sister and brother-in-law one day but so far he has been leading the team and helping train the younger members in their powers.
Franklin "Psi-Lord" Richards
The son of Reed and Sue Richards who has been a member of the Fantastic Five for sometime now. He was born a mutant with vast psionic abilities and was since become a valued member of the team as part of it's younger generation. He seems to greatly respect his uncle and usually tries to look out for his young cousin Torus Storm who seems to share his father's previous mischievous ways and trying to prove himself. Though it has also been stated he often has to where a containment suit to help in regulating his powers.
SHIELD:
Nick Fury
A long time director of SHIELD who has lived a long life in his own right. He has seen many dark days and many good, and he has long since tried to keep SHIELD on it's feet to this very day. Though enhanced with a formula long ago that even slows his aging it's becoming clear this old director is beginning to feel age getting to him as it has with Captain America. But it seems unlikely he will give up his position that easily.
Maria Hill
Nick Fury's long time second in command and has always been a valued member to the organization. She is a seasoned veteran agent who always helps keep the agents of SHIELD in line and on task, having helped to run the organization and has aged slightly over the years. Though it's not likely her old boss will give up his position it's quite possible she could someday take over as director. She also helps to oversee training of newer agents when Nick is busy elsewhere.
Sharon Carter
Sharon has been a well known agent among SHIELD for sometime now and is still one of their younger top agents in the organization. What's more she is also the cousin of Shannon Carter, the Avenger known as American Dream at this current time. She helps her cousin on occasions and has been known to visit her often when she isn't busy at work. And can be suspected she has garnered great admiration and attention among her fellow agents and likely holds a high rank as an operative.
Dark Avengers:
Hope "Red Queen" Pym
One of the twins of the Pym family who was mostly raised by her father due to past injuries her mother, Janet Van Dyne, received during their time as Avengers. She has recently joined the Dark Avengers as one of their leaders partly wanting to get back at the Avengers thinking they not only have they ruined the memory of her parents but also thinking Stinger has also shamed that memory as well. Because of this she holds a deep hatred towards Cassandra Lang.
Henry "Big Man" Pym
Hope's twin brother and one of the two Pym children. Henry is a reluctant member of the team, mostly being among them to look out for his sister and worried she may be losing herself completely. He would much prefer to have a civilian life but has exposed himself to Pym Particles in order to grow in size and tries to help his sister where he can. But his primary goal as a Dark Avenger is only showing that the Avengers "can't cut it" among the new generation. Whether he will change sides or not is up to the player.
Sylene
Sylene is a villainess who is the daughter of Loki and an unknown mother. She has shaped herself after much of his image and seeks to get back at the new team or possibly old team of Avengers for what they did to him years ago. Thus much of her ploy is to seek revenge and she has joined the Dark Avengers to do just this.
Scott "Cyclops" Summers
