Hidalgo was trying to take some time to relax, having recently returned from some of his travels in another country across the Atlantic and finally having returned to New York after a few weeks. And what better way to relax then having some nice hot coffee in Mutant Town, a place where he felt at ease and away from the eyes of those he hated the most. It was a usual place he stopped in the past and got a coffee here and there, and it was one of those moments that just called for one since he also needed something to wake him up after a long flight back on his own power.
Of course, a peaceful time like this never seemed to last in this part of New York as the sound of sirens made him look up, watching as likely an innocent mutant was on the run who had some kind of physical mutation that made them stand out and much to his annoyance the police were chasing them down. And without any explanation it seemed they bumped the fleeing young teen, knocking him over enough it caused the wind to be knocked out of him as two policemen stepped out and yelling at the teen to not move. And those who were watching of course were afraid to make a move with fear of bringing even more issues upon them which made Hidalgo shake his head as he set his coffee down and came stepping out of the shop, the sound of the bell making the two policemen look over.
"What crime is this kid being accused of?" Hidalgo asked calmly but coldly. "Heh, like it's your business mutie. Get back in the shop before we arrest you for obstructing justice and interfering with police." One of them stated making Hidalgo answer with manifesting blue flames in his hands that covered the entirely of his hands making the two officers react to grab their guns more so in fear then anything. "Too slow." Hidalgo said darkly, as the flames became hand guns of his own and he fired a few fire bullets, hitting the cops enough it left them burned and hurt, causing them to scramble to the car. But they didn't get very far before Hidalgo flew over quickly, grabbing the two with ease and lift them in the air.
The kid they had tried to arrest quickly took off seeing his chance and many other passerbys began to watch in wonder of what Hidalgo was up to. "You see my fellow mutants, another example of how humans continue just to prosecute us wrongly and spread their prejudice even into this part of the city that's suppose to be ours. Obviously, you can't trust humans." Hidalgo said, his words easily ringing out to others in a few block radius as several gave their shots of agreement and Hidalgo looked at the struggling officers who begged for their lives. "Let us go you flying freak! We're just doing our jobs!" One of them yelled as Hidalgo snorted. "And I'm just doing mine." He said as he dropped the two police, watching as they fell from ten feet to crash onto the concrete, killing one of them and the other only being severely injured. A sickening sight for some.

Mutant town....should he be here? Davyn wasn't sure if he'd be classified as a mutant or not. He wasn't born with the Demon Dog in any sense, it was put in him by his father's experimenting. Was he a mutant? No..just a experiment. Not human but not meant for anywhere else. It...wouldn't hurt to just walk around no? No, of course not. Nothing would go horrifyingly wrong right? In all honesty he could only hope that things would go alright as he merely walked around. For a good while nothing bad happened, he didn't pay attention to anyone else really. They left him be and he did the same to them, course a scene he soon fell upon caused him to pause and remain. Oh boy...this wasn't good. The SHIELD member had arrived right when the mutant had picked the two police officers up and all he did was stand there as they went in the air and soon dropped. One went splat on the ground while one managed to stay alive, Davyn went towards the one that was somehow alive an bent down. Course the officer wouldn't last long without the hospitial, amber eyes turned their gaze to the mutant who caused it with slightly narrowed eyes as he rose.
"And how are you better?" Davyn questioned, a serious tone in his voice. "You are giving them a reason to fear you! You go around killing the cops all because they fear or you might've misinterrupted what went on, will do you nor anyone on either side any good!"
Oh Davyn....what are you doing? Davyn questioned himself, he soon turend his gaze to those who had merely watched.
"If you give them reason to fear, they will react the way most have been having! You Sir, are feeding that fear and that will cause humans to react the way they do but it will only get worse." Davyn told them all, still serious and he soon turned his gaze to Hidalgo. "This is how wars get started, if it's not belives or religion, then it's fear. A war is not what is needed. Show them that fear is not meant, don't feed it!"
Look who's talking....Demon Dog. Davyn riddiculed himself in thought. You've slaughted quite a few all because of what you can't command.

Seeing someone from the crowd come towards the cops Hidalgo wondered if this person was a mutant who could easily pass off as a "normal" human or a human himself. Seeing the concern though only made Hidalgo snort in disgust that this man was showing any kind of sympathy for those who were nothing but prejudice towards those who were different and more advanced in the newer generations of humans. It seemed there was definitely going to be a problem here.
"And I don't recall seeing you here when they were being smug and practically nearly ran this poor teen over my kind sir. Of course, I can bet you're a human yourself and only trying to justify the action of your own kind." Hidalgo said as he landed, several others backing up just in case something worse broke out. Looking at the cop that was struggling to live Hidalgo fashioned a blue-fire sword and stabbed the officer through the back, severing his spine and through the heart, making the man cough and splutter blood at first before the life finally left him. The least he could do was put the pathetic man out of his misery. It was surprising he had remained alive at all from that height.
Pulling the sword free, Hidalgo looking back at Davyn as if scrutinizing the man to see if he could pick Davyn apart, figure out what he was if he could. "I've studied many cultures, seen many things of persecution and that is what mutants are facing far too often even when humans go unprovoked. They attack those they find different and set out to destroy them, something that causes wars and battles far too often as well." He said coldly, obviously not impressed with Davyn's way in trying to say his own actions were wrong. "If you are expecting an X-man or their views your in the wrong area my friend. I much prefer the Homo Sapien Superior over Homo Sapien. Their time is coming to an end and one way or another they'll come to accept it."

"That's because I only just got here. And to be honest I'm not sure what I am so I can't really justify what these men did, but I sure as hell, can't justify you're actions." Davyn replied.
Seeing the down cop get stabbed, Davyn kept his reaction inside. Part of him was wanting to yell at this man for murdering the cop that was somehow still alive. Yet another part of him was under the impression that they probably wouldn't have lasted long enough for a ambulance and it was a mercy thing. However...how could this stranger due mercy after dropping the guy along with showing their hate for humans.
"The only real difference is because one has natural gifts or physical difference, get a clue pal! Humans torture each other over those things with one another. If a human has some physical deformity, other humans make their lives miserable as well!" Davyn retorted. "Homo Sapien Superior? Just because you have something genetic that makes you very different from the rest? Sounds like something you would use to describe a person who thinks they're a god and has a very large ego, who is trying to force their ways onto others. I'm not expecting no X-men or anyone, I'm merely trying help someone realize that going around murdering people for any reason, isn't the way to do it!"
Seen many persecutions huh? Everyone's seen some kind of that in their life. Davyn thought.
"If you only focus on the wrongs then you are wasting your life, you'll only leave a very deep and long negative impact on things." Davyn added as he stood there.

"Humans are primitive and long overdue to be gone. They're old news and they'll never accept the fact that Homo Sapien is coming to where it's no longer going to inhabit this planet." Hidalgo retorted, not at all moved by what Davyn was trying to argue as he had come to accept the view that humans can never be trusted. Torture was something he had faced himself, had seen far too many times and it was mutants he specialized in especially seeing in terms of culture.
But like many they seemed split down the middle of what views they took and then you had something he dubbed "Switzerland" mutants who just were neutral and had no care for either side. And at this rate he had seen more cheers for his actions then actually letting them go, so it seemed his actions were justified by some. "I'm not the one who coined the species name, I just use it." Hidalgo remarked in return, knowing fully well it was Magneto years ago who had made the name and some had come to accept it as the real name. Though others preferred Homo Mutantis instead which he had heard the former much more often and thus used it. Aside from that he shrugged, "What you do with the atrocities you've seen is what makes all the difference my friend."
IN this case, Hidalgo set out to help his fellow mutants. Maybe not all of them followed the same path as Magneto had or his Brotherhood, but he still viewed their ways as really making the most impact. The X-men were nothing but a joke and disgrace to their kind. And the Avengers were just the living embodiment of what the humans hoped to achieve because most of the Avengers were viewed as "human".

"If it weren't for humans, you wouldn't be around!! True, maybe mutants are the next step in evolution but that doesn't mean we all can't coexist and that the other has to go!" Davyn retorted. "Humans can still be around for many years to come, think about it. Not everyone will be born a mutant eve if the parents are mutant, it's a matter of their genetics. What are you gonna do? Force everyone to have to be with a certain someone just to ensure the child will be a mutant as well?"
Humans had overcome obstacles in the past. Look at history, slavery was ended because enough people of both colors banded together. Mutants and humans could do the same. Besides, how long had mutants been around? They coexisted all these years!! The man's words didn't help Davyn relax, instead it just caused anger to build in him. Something that was a very bad thing considering what the Demon Dog was.
"The only thing that is a atrocity, is how some people are so cold, cruel, and ego filled to where they will just ruin everyone's life for their own pathetic way of thinking!!" Davyn snapped, his eyes starting to show a bit of gold to them. "Everyone here wants to live a life of peace right?!!! You go about trying to slaughter everything that doesn't have a power from birth, you'll affect them badly!!! Your actions will effect them for worse!!"

"Take your pity speech to the X-men, your words mean nothing to me." Hidalgo stated simply, showing he didn't express such views that the X-men and some tended to believe in. Far too often in his younger years had he been drilled the strongest survive and mutants were meant to be those next survivors, but even some of them would be seen as weak. Such a belief was something he could thank Clan Akkaba for but he only chose to take part of their beliefs to heart and more so believed Magneto's way was the true way to go.
He noticed how Davyn's eyes changed, making him wonder if he too was a mutant or just happened to be a mutate, a false mutant in his eyes. Though this failed to scare him as he merely shrugged, "Humans might just end up second rate citizens, maybe if they can survive a mutant ruled world. Quite frankly, a second belief of mine is only the strong survive, so maybe some mutants might not make it either." He remarked as he decided to simply turn away seeming as he could now hear other sirens coming as he began to walk away.
"And my friend, the world is a cruel and cold place, it always has. Atrocities are committed all the time, even when you cannot see them." Hidalgo stopped briefly and looked at Davyn, "What we learn from them is what makes all the difference, and if face them ourselves it shapes us."

Anger was building up, trying to take over as he stood there. Trying to push away his mind to allow something far worse through. However Davyn did everything he could to push it back down, make it go away and fade. The Demon Dog however wasn't going to be pushed aside like a simple mutt, oh no. It was far stronger than a simple mutt and truthfully, stronger than Davyn in so many ways no doubt. Hence why he was always failing to hold it back like on that train. Only the strong survive? That stupid belief?!! What was this?!! Gritting his teeth, his canine teeth elongated slightly as he tried to hold his tongue as well as calm down; neither was working.
"I know that!! I have gone through cruel and cold things, but at least I'm not sick in the head and blame the whole workd for it!!!" Davyn snapped as he took a step forward, hands in fists as he glared at the mutant before him. "I blame and despise the person who is to blame, I don't blame a entire race for the deeds of one stupid and betraying rat!!! You've learned nothing from your experiences, all you've learned is to feed the hatred that is currently making both sides farther away from any peace but in the end it could be the downfall of both. You'll be setting off a war far worse than a nuclear one and what is to say that mutants or humans would survive? In the end we could wipe each other out and both sides were the weaker, neither was stronger than the other to survive. Survival of the fittest? Is the most stupid and idiotic thing that was ever thought up for how the world works!!!!"
Oh if SHIELD was watching then they would see how Davyn was losing his own battle, the raised tone and not backing down were pretty clear signs other than his eye color change and the fact his canine teeth were longer. Things could take a very bad and poor turn quickly if something didn't happen to defuse the situation, for Davyn was losing. Losing against himself, he was his worst enemy after all. Far worse than his father could be. For in the end, it was always Davyn himself that failed to contain the Demon Dog. Outside forces could set it off, alas if was almost always his fault that the beast got lose and did the damage it caused.
The color of his eyes further went to the Demon Dog, giving them a glow as the man stood there. Teeth elongated slightly more as he stood there, glaring daggers at the stranger. His short black hair seemed to start to stand up; though this was most noticeable in the back for it seemed to have grown out a bit. The sound of sirens registered slightly, though he didn't turn to look in the direction they were coming from. Instead he merely looked toward that direction through the corner of his eyes. Lovely.....more cops to the slaughter.
