May Parker, the girl known as Spider-man's daughter and who has aquired powers at a relatively young age found her self swinging through New York City the only way she knew how besides walking. She was using her webbing which had been made useful for this. The white strong and yet sticky fluid was useful in so many ways as this was one of them mas she flexed out her muscles. She seemed to be on the way to New York City as of now. For some unknown reason she seemed determined on something. Not stopping for anything except for a cry of help. For that matter it meant she was likely patroling the city again since someone had to do it. The young spider however had not allied herself with anyone as she remained by herself, a loner just like her father. As she stood poised it was like May was waiting for something as she stood fixed on a brick wall. Focusing hard as her spider sense went off, and what was even better as the pinging in her head almost hurt like a headache.
But she knew what it was like and what it was for. Trouble was a foot and she had to be ready. With that she had one hand out ready to web who was ever coming forward and it seemed to be going at a decent speed. With the right timing and smack! The person seemed to have no idea what hit them. "What the? What was this?" The male called out in alarm as they seemed to be tangled up in the webbing as she had laid out a trap before the person could get far. "Just doing the usual gentleman stopping bad guys from robbing places and returning the items to the local authorities. Anyways ta ta for now.If you yell loud enough some of the police will probably find you." She said as a sticky note had been left behind for the cops. It had read something like "Kind regards, Spider-girl." She had written to it as she took off again before wanting to listen to the police officers. But if she were to do more than just take down robbers she would likely have to join a team. But May wasn't really interested in joining a team just as of now. It was too much work, and just like her father she was a loner.
Of course the problem was she couldn't do everything by herself. Great Power came Great Responsibility as her father warned her plenty times in the past.

"Very good." William spoke up, course he was dressed in his Lord Nightroad outfit.
He had merely been watching the event upon his arrival here. Upon his arrival in New York, he took to exploration and keeping out of people's way. This was a very large city though there were many teams dedicated to trying to keep it safe but with every light of good there was a darkness of evil. Course darkness could be used by those of light as well. The thought of joining a team was small in his mind but he pushed it aside. If he doubted it would be best. His black gaze was directed toward the girl as he stood there. Though it be hard to tell just how she'd react, she'd probably thing he was rather funny looking considering his old style appearance and the mask; along with hair. Alas it didn't matter it worked for him.
"My apologies if I startled you, not my intention." William added after a few moments.
(ooc: sorry it's bad. Haven't rped him in a bit)

Ooc: It's ok my own post was kind of iffy maybe these next few will make things a lot better.
Bic: May had noticed the young man and his odd form as he stood watching the whole act. Well if you knew it practically all of New York would be watching her. But like him they seemed to have a connection both of them were solo super heroes-if that was what he really was. And they liked to stay out of sight. For now at least May wasn't entirely sure how to react to him with his watching. It could've gone both ways, still she tried to be nice, maybe she could've made an ally here.
"It's alright sir not a worry at all." May responded as she continued to watch him. She was crouched with her knees bent had one hand was hanging on the roof top that she had been resting on. Well if one thing was true, her spider sense hadn't gone off, which would've meant there was trouble with this guy. If she trusted that and him maybe there was nothing bad or out of the ordinary with this guy. "And I take it you were watching that whole thing? Seems like a pretty good out post if you ask me." She added.
"And I'm forgetting the name's Spider-Girl. Most people around here know my father as Spider-Man." She said knowing that her father was far more famous in these parts than she was. But May wasn't all that interested in trying to be famous like him. She just wanted to do what she had liked from the beginning, and that was making sure innocent by standers were safe from harm from villains. That was the typical and classical way of superheroes. There was indeed a way to tell Spider-Girl and her father apart she had a different looking costume where her legs of the spider symbol went out and around her torso and her shoulders were black. Her father had a blue and red suit so it was only fair that they were different.

That was good, at least he didn't spook her on accident. Doing that certainly wouldn't be a good thing. Seeing her crouch, William merely stayed put. Waiting to see what would happen or if she would speak again. While it was nice to be in a new place, he didn't mind conversation.
"I did and yes, it's a good one. Course when I saw the little event start to unfold, I did consider lending a hand but I quickly saw you weren't in need of it." William explained.
he did mean it. While he did try not to intervene with other heroes and their tasks, he didn't mind doing so. After all everyone could use a hand every once in a while. Course when he saw that his help wasn't needed he kept out of the way. It made sense. With her introduction William followed suit, though he gave a bow before he spoke.
"Lord Nightroad." William introduced as he stood back up straight. "I have heard about your father, alas I have never meet him. It is my first time within New York City. It is a pleasure to meet you though, Spider Girl."
Many heroes lived here and thus it was only fair to meet them politely if they wished to talk. Course, Lord Nightroad was also known by another name. But that was one the young Heroine didn't need to know, hopefully she'd never have to see that side. William hadn't put much thought into his costume upon creating it. Really he thought that so long as the outfit was different looking in some way than what he normally wore and if he had a mask of sorts on, then he'd be fine.

May was not so easily spooked by most tings, and if there were bad things in their midst, her spidey sense would've gone off. But it hadn't so it seemed like she could be at ease with this strange man. And his timing right after the robbery? It shouldn't have been a surprise either since there are many heroes within this city, some of which she couldn't blame them for doing so.
"I can handle myself in plenty of fights." She said with a soft nod knowing she had gotten a lot of practice with the Avengers and while being on her own. Her father had appointed the Avengers for help. "The other thing is I'm more of a rogue I can't handle being on a team all that much and I guess I want to follow my father's footsteps in some cases. He was a great hero by himself and that was how he pretty much always did things." This had also been an invitation that she did not want help. Especially if it was from a stranger.
"Yeah not surprised on everyone knowing my father. He's been hated and loved by many." May said knowing that she had heard plenty of stories from both sides. But she knew her father was doing the right thing for the world and trying to keep the world safe. So far things had been peaceful as most of the older heroes-much like her father had calmed down and tried to find a family. It seemed like that had happened on her side of the family she could only wonder what happened to the other heroes that were out there. "But it's nice to meet you as well Nightroad. If you need any directions or anything you can come to me if you like. New York is a busy concrete maze but I've lived here all my life." She admitted knowing it was true on both those accounts.

Some people were just like that, not easily scared or unnerved. Course there had to be something deep down that would scare or unnerve a soul. It was different for everyone, William gave a nod to Spider Girl's words to how she could handle herself in a fight. Well she certainly showed it so William wouldn't argue with her.
"Some just prefer to be alone." William said, going along with what Spider Girl saying about her being a rogue without a team and all.
William held not much of a desire to join a team, after all....he lost his wife. They weren't a superhero team no but they were a team in their love and relationship, she supported his ways and accepted him. He did the same to her. He suffered a great lose when she was murdered and the result of it....well the risk of joining a team and having that happen again, not good.
"I've only heard of him from news reports and the papers." William spoke. "I think I'll just wander for a bit, no h arm in it considering one will have to wander to explore a new place. Thank you for the offer though."

It was true everyone had a fear but May wasn't about to let that get into her way. Her biggest fear was loosing her family and not being able to see them again. It was really the only thing she had left besides her powers to be honest. Yes May Parker had friends but when she was Spider-Girl she was pretty much by herself-occasionally teaming up with others, but that was pretty much it. The Avengers wouldn't want her low class level skill. Now would they?
"I suppose that statement about being left alone is true." She added agreeing with that.
May nodded when William spoke up again about wandering around it was easy to get lost in these parts but she could at least pick out a few places to go ahead and look at later if he was that interested in the city. "You can try the Statue of Liberty, Stark Industries, Grand Central Station or Central Park to name a few. There are many famous places here and I can't name all of them off the top of my head." She at least offered in some friendly advise seeing that she might've been a bit stubborn the first time around. Well that was true with her father too, and her mom. It seemed to have run in the family more than she thought.
Stark Industries and the Statue of Liberty were pretty easy to point out if they got up higher. Stark Tower was pretty much a beacon as was the Statue of Libertty if you wanted to go sight seeing or learn something new. But May had her reasons of being out in this area of where she was right now. That reminded her, as the sirens began blaring when the police arrived to get the bad guys down below as the display of lights began to form. They were always bad at timing in the City.
